Our History
Vern Way was quite the icon in the City of Beacon. Many don't know he built what is now the V.R. Way football field and and field house from the ground up.
A local community man who was able to seek friends, family, coworkers, local unions, businesses and organizations to all contribute in any way they could. His hard work and dedication were like no other.
It meant more to him that the kids in our community had a place to come, feel safe, secure and supported while they played the game of football. The football program in Beacon was truly his passion and we want nothing more than to honor him and his endeavors while bringing back the sport to our community kids.
All Smiles Means All Fun!
That's what we strive for here at Beacon Youth Football. We want all our community kids to learn the game and have just a plain ol' blast doing so!
Spring has sprung here at BYF
Our biggest SEASON TO DATE is officially underway! Thank you to all our community members who have returned for another season and also a huge welcome to our newest members to Beacon Youth Football! Our season has officially kicked off with practices and games are gearing up for our first games on Saturday, May 11th. Game times are coming soon! If you're player is absolutely loving it so far and wants to take it to the next level our Fall Tackle Season Registration is OFFICIALLY OPEN as well. We're offering teams for our littlest bulldog pups all the way to the big dogs. Need more information? Contact us today!
